I downloaded v184.108.40.206 via your link. Uninstalled existing version, rebooted, installed new version. "About" now says v220.127.116.11 beta. No problem.
Skype has a new webcam now. Unfortunately it's not called SplitCam. It's called "IP Camera [MPEG/MJPEG]" No problem. But, there's no video.
Google+ Hangouts lists this same device, as well as two others - SplitCam Video Capture, and SplitCam Video Capture+. I got video on one of them, but I can't tell which one, because the video froze while I was switching.
I'm going to wait until I hear from you before testing further.
