Audio High Pitched in Video Stream?

Post by FaceCrush2142 » Thu Apr 26, 2018 5:03 am

I'm running Windows 10. I have SplitCam version 8.1.4.1. I've been streaming videos with just about no issue. However, on a certain video, the sound comes out choppy and high pitched, like a chipmunk, almost as if it's trying to speed up the audio.

The video file is an mp4. Audio bit rate is 32kbps, channel is mono (all the files that work are stereo), audio sample rate is 32.000k Hz.

Any idea on what could be causing the issue?

Can you send us a link of that file for testing?

The problem is in our mixer. Its minimal audio sample rate is 44 KHz, your file is 32 KHz. We'll fix it in the next beta version.
For you I can offer to transform your video from 32 to 44 KHz using the utility FFMPEG

https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/

How to make it:

ffmpeg.exe -i bounce_and_lick_big.mp4 -ar 44100 bounce_and_lick_big_44.mp4

Thank you for the message.
