I tried Splitcam and it wouldn't work for me so I uninstalled it.
Then other software I am using keeps asking me if I want to connect to Splitcam devices !
Contacam for instance. It shows a device 'IP Split Camera'.
I searched the Registry and found nothing.
How can I remove all left over traces?
How To Uninstall Splitcam?
Re: How To Uninstall Splitcam?
Splitcam is a usual Windows program and you should delete it by using standard procedure of Windows - Add or Remove Programs.
For details see Windows Help or use Google.
If you tried to remove Splitcam by another way, then you must install Splitcam on PC once again, restart PC and uninstall it using

Re: How To Uninstall Splitcam?
see if these reg keys are still in the registry and delete them:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SpliCamService
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\splitcam_hd_driver
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SplitCamAudio
Those keys if left on the system along with the service file, remain active after unistalling splitcam if the program is not uninstalled correctly.
Also check in Device Manager under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" for:
"SplitCam Virtual Audio Device (WDM)"
"SplitCam Virtual Video Driver"
and uninstall them, by right click and choose "uninstall device".

Re: How To Uninstall Splitcam?
Thank you for info about bug,
you are right - a uninstall leaves entries in the Registry. Usually this is for the splitcam_hd_driver.
Usually the uninstall must remove all our drivers from Device Manager and make it for any cases which don't depend on those remaining entries in Registry. For your case, I think, it happens when a user don't close Splitcam before removing or installs/deletes Splitcam components manually.
We'll fix it in the next beta version.
Thanks for help,
Victor

Re: How To Uninstall Splitcam?
we considered your situation - after Spitcam removing those keys:
It's normal, because the OS hopes to use them in the next install of Splitcam.
If you wish you can remove them yourself. For it you should do the followings:
1. Remove the registry by regedit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\splitcam_hd_driver
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SplitCamAudio (only for MS Windows 10)
2. Remove the files from the drivers store:
..\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\splitcam_hd_driver.sys
..\Windows\system32\drivers\SplitCamAudio.sys
..\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\splitcamaudio.inf*
..\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\splitcam_hd_driver.inf*
have to be in Registry. When you uninstall a driver an OS only unloads that driver but leaves it in the drivers store. These keys are entries of that driver there.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\splitcam_hd_driver
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SplitCamAudio (for MS Windows 10)
